Terms of Service Agreement

Below is our Terms of Service Agreement that we ask you quickly review to communicate customer expectations, responsibilities, and company procedures for our lawn services.

First Visit Mowing: Depending on the condition of the property when we make our first visit, it may be necessary to charge an extra fee if the grass is taller than a normal height, the edges are overgrown, or other conditions exist that will prevent completing normal weekly maintenance duties. If the time it takes to complete the service is more than 15 minutes over our budgeted time, we will charge for actual time spent on that visit at a rate of $45

 per man hour.

Full-Service Mowing: We define full-service mowing as a regular weekly mowing customer that has a minimum lawn treatment plan of 6 rounds of fertilizer or 5 rounds of weed control. All mowing customers are required to sign up as full-service mowing customers.

Lawn Treatment Plans: All lawn treatment plans (Fertilizing, Weed Control, Insect Control) are seasonal plans and the price of service materials for your plan are considered a non-refundable deposit. If you terminate your service before the end of your regularly scheduled plan you will only be refunded the service overhead portion of the unfulfilled service price where service materials plus service overhead equals service price. 

Gate Access: It is the customers responsibility to ensure gates are unlocked and able to be opened before or at the time of your service. If gate access is not accessible at the time of service, we will reach out to you if an issue arises as a kindly reminder. If repeat occurrences continue, we may charge a stop fee of $12.50 per occurrence. 

Service Day or Dates: For all regular mowing service customers your service day of the week will remain constant unless notified delay of weather. If service day is changed you will be notified in advance as soon as possible. Early Service Reminder: If you would like us to send a reminder prior to your day of service, you will need to call in advance to have this established for the first time. 

Animal Waste: We kindly ask that you pick up any animal waste in the lawn or work area before time of service. We will notify you that it is the customers responsibility to have the lawn or work area reasonably clear of all animal waste. We will reach out to you if an issue arises as a kindly reminder. If future issues persist, we may charge you a convenience fee of $5.00 per occurrence or discontinue service at your property. 

Trash and Debris: We kindly ask that you pick up any trash and debris (not animal waste) in the lawn or work area before time of service unless scheduled service is for a Clean-Up. We will notify you that it is the customers responsibility to have the lawn or work area reasonably clear of all trash and debris. We will reach out to you if an issue arises as a kindly reminder. If future issues persist, we may charge you a disposal fee of $5.00 per occurrence or discontinue service at your property. 

Monthly Invoicing: For all recurring or single services (other than Lawn Treatment Prepayment Plans) we generate invoices on the 1st of each month. All services performed in previous calendar month will be on invoice. Customer is responsible to arrange payment for all services that appear on invoice.

Billing Disputes: If a billing service or item is in error it is the customers responsibility to notify Veteran Lawn Services as soon as possible for us to correct as soon as possible. 

Late Fee and Collections: All invoices have a 30 day period for payment before due unless otherwise agreed. Once the invoice is not paid by due date the customer will sent a Past Due notice and assessed a $10 late fee. Each successive 30 day period past the due date the fee is increased by $10. After 120 days we will assess an additional $25 fee and send the account to a collection agency. If you know you are unable to pay your bill you may call and set up a payment plan to possibly avoid late fees, please call before any fees are assessed.

< 30 Days: $10

< 60 Days: $20

< 90 Days: $30

<120 Days: $25 and sent to collection agency
