Year 1: Materials, Installation, Removal, and Storage. 

Year 2 and beyond: Installation, Removal, and Storage. 

Materials: This includes the cost of all necessary materials to create your custom holiday lights display. Installation/Removal: We charge an hourly rate of $42.50 per man/hour for installation and removal of your display. 

Storage: We charge $25 per season after the removal of your display is completed. 

*Additional materials can be added to your displays in the following years at the cost of materials added.

*A man lift rental may be necessary for some displays. 

Holiday lighting displays typically run from the first week of November through mid-December and are taken down in January or February. The displays last for 60 to 90 days in Council Bluffs, IA area. 

Illuminated areas where custom holiday lights are most commonly added include gutter lines, roof peaks and awnings, porch railing and columns, wreaths, bush/tree trunk netting, lighted pathways, fence lines, and lawn displays.

 During your estimate, you can choose which areas of your property you want to decorate with holiday lighting and specify the lighting scheme you prefer. We will then create custom holiday lights strands, plugs, and extension lines to connect all light strands according to your requirements. We use clips that can be easily attached to your gutters and roof lines without any need for hardware. All lines will be run and attached to an automated timer, giving you complete control over your display settings. 

 We provide a storage service for your custom holiday lights displays, which you own. This service is ideal if you don't want to clutter your limited storage space at home with items that you use more often. If you opt for storage, we ensure that all materials and displays are in working condition or repaired before each subsequent year's installation, at no extra cost to you. 

If you choose not to store your display, we offer house calls to repair any issues or replace broken parts in Council Bluffs, IA, and the surrounding areas. The cost of labor and materials will apply in this case. 

 We will start scheduling the removal of your custom holiday lights displays after the designated display period, on days when the weather permits. Typically, there's a break in winter weather around the end of January or beginning of February. Safety is our top priority, and we will not risk injury due to weather conditions when removing lights. 

 If your holiday lighting design or installation requirements require access to areas beyond the first-floor gutter line, exceeding a height of 20ft above ground, or have a set-back with multiple eaves, a man lift is essential to perform the installation and removal service. The cost of renting a man lift will be shared per rental period based on the number of homes in the Council Bluffs area we service during that period. Typically, customers should expect to pay between $75-$100 per installation or removal, depending on the season. 

In the first year, customers only need to pay for the cost of holiday lighting materials upfront. In the following years, they will only be charged for installation, removal, and storage of the custom holiday lights display. If the lights are stored by us, we will return them to you with notice if you choose to discontinue our service.
