Our standard lawn mowing service includes mulch mowing, trimming, and blowing for one great price. Mulching is better for your lawn by allowing the cut grass to break down and recycle its nutrients, ultimately lessening how often your lawn needs fertilized. The immediate stress your lawn faces when cut can also be mitigated by helping retain moisture levels by allowing clippings to shield your lawn.
Dates for 2023:
Starting Week March 27th-April 1st
Ending Week November 6th - 11th
Total Weeks - 33
We will generally begin lawn mowing the last week of March and end the season the second week of November. Check out our Service Calendar for all dates and closures for Holidays.
Dates for 2023:
Summer - July 2nd-8th, July 16th-22nd, July 30th - August 5th
Fall - October 8th-14th, October 22nd-28th, November 5th-11th
Total Opt-Out weeks - 6
Customers may choose to opt out of lawn mowing for any of the weeks listed above, however, we do not opt out of regular weeks in between. During summer in July/August the growth of your grass may become heavily slowed by heat and drought and again in the fall in October/November your grass growth may begin to slow due to the colder weather. Check out our Service Calendar for all dates.
Any changes to scheduling lawn mowing services will be communicated to you as soon as possible. In the event of rain, expect delays in service, but be sure we will begin working as soon as the weather will allow. We prioritize the schedule of our routes when making up work. For example if we are rain delayed on Monday and cannot provide service, the next day we are able to we will begin with the Monday route and work to catch up as soon as possible.
We set our mowers cutting height between 3.5-4.5 inches. This gives the most consistent look after the lawn is cut. It will also help ensure that in uneven terrain we do not bottom out during lawn mowing, scalping your lawn or damaging our equipment. Grass that is cut shorter that 4 inches tends to burn up in the sun much easier with less ability to resist stress and drought.
We do not take on every other week service as a regular but as an option if needed for the customer under certain circumstances. A minimum $15 on top of your normal lawn service price for every other week scheduling. The cost offsets the added lawn growth that requires a double cut to the lawn where we will have to go back over long spots that do not cut well the first time. This fee is not incurred for summer drought when we determine the lawn should not be cut.
We do not offer bagging as part of our lawn mowing service. Mulch mowing will cut your clippings into fine particles that will break down and return nutrients to your lawn. It will also help shield your lawn from the immediate stress after cutting until your grass recovers. We will ensure that no large clumps of clippings are left that could damage your grass by matting it down.
We do have a Terms of Service Agreement that cover some basic responsibilities of customers to ensure we can provide great and timely service at all times. Please read and familiarize yourself for as they do apply to our lawn mowing service.
